Nature Communication Assignment & notes from 8-19-23 ~ Animal Communication World ~ Maia Kincaid
Dear Awesome Nature Communicators,
In class, we had conversations with the dog Shanti, a dog named Maverick, and Rats trained to find bombs.
Thank you to those who attended class and shared our adventures communicating and many thanks to everyone on our list for your desire to learn directly from Nature through having dialogs with animals, plants, insects, and Mother Earth. I encourage you to listen to this recording or watch the video if you could not attend the live class because it was a beautiful experience.
For this month, here's a suggested assignment:
1. Until we meet again, take a moment to consider what animal, plant, or bug you would like to have a conversation with.
2. Say hello to the one you choose (or the one who chooses you!).
3. Take a moment to quickly list things you would like to know and, or topics you would love to explore. Dive in and begin to ask questions. Write your questions down and write a response. Quickly write the response. Make something up if you are not sure what to write or what you are hearing. The main thing is to quickly take a response. By choosing a response quickly you allow the for the being you are communicating with to correct you if they wish, or to expand on what was said. On the contrary, if you hold back and do not share (waiting to be sure you got it right) you limit what is possible. Being vulnerable (genuine) has us open to being corrected and for the animal (plant, bug, or Mother Earth) to lead the conversation.
Through your daily activities, doing what you love, you may inspire fellow human beings around the world to have their own communication with Nature!
